American Institute of Research (Los Angeles location) is located in a 3,000 square foot facility that is handicapped accessible on the same floor. Our research center is across the street from Good Samaritan Hospital and between 1 and 3 miles from Saint Vincent Medical Center and California Hospital. It is easily accessible from the 10 and 110 fwy’s right in down town Los Angeles and about 20 minutes from both LAX and Burbank Airports.

  • We have 5 exam rooms including 1 infusion room

  • -80 degree freezer for PK sample storage

  • -20 degree freezer for sample storage

  • IP dedicated locked refrigerator

  • Refrigerated centrifuge for PK samples processing

  • Two centrifuge’s for blood sample processing

  • Access to dry ice

  • CLIA accredited lab area

  • CardioCare electronic 12 lead ECG system in all clinical Coordinators Laptops

  • Two weight scales (calibrated every year)

  • Blood pressure machines (calibrated every year)

  • Ample storage facility for lab kits and study supplies

  • Comfortable waiting room with TV for our outpatient staff and for our extended stays with access to beverages: coffee, tea, and water.

  • CD/DVDs, Netflix, and rabbit TV for patient entertainment.

  • Games: cards, dominos, puzzles, etc.. for extended stay patient entertainment

  • Private restroom with shower for our extended stay patients

  • Coordinators office has restricted access

  • High-speed internet access for monitors and patients

  • Dedicated fax and phone lines with 24 hours’ voicemail and emergency phone numbers for 24/7 calls to staff.

  • Remote EDC capabilities

  • Each staff member has their own network laptop computers with 24-hour automatic back up.

  • Regulatory coordinator remote and on site

  • On site and off site archiving of study documents
